Akazienzendo is a place to meditate and gather.
Zen meditation – or Zazen is silent, open meditation in the middle of our experience. In this process, we increasingly come into harmony with ourselves, others, and our surroundings. Akazienzendo offers a contemporary, urban approach to Zen practice, without neglecting the depth and insight of traditional Buddhist spirituality.
At the same time, our offerings are open to all who wish to engage in a purely secular meditation practice or come from other traditions.
Akazienzendo is a non-profit organization, associated with the San Francisco Zen Center.
Please feel free to join our meditations or contact us.
Everyone is welcome!
